I took the blue pill...

Well, I am officially plugged into the Matrix that is the Peruna Tonic Blog and can't wait to chronical our team's adventures through this first PMBA year.

After class on saturday, I felt a sense of releif of having put the quiz behind me. I think I did well, which means I either aced it or I bombed the hell out of it. I guess if I had to put a line on it, it would be Pick 'em. Like Dub, I was greeted with the pleasant slap in the face of having to put together a direct method SoCF. Frikkin' great. After cranking throught the T-accounts - and I can't wait until we put these behind us - I put the direct statement together, and as luck would have it, it didn't match the indirect one. After lawyering up the numbers a little bit (that means playing around with them until I get a result that looks right), I realized I hadn't added in inventory purchases to the Investment section. Voila, a balanced SoCF. Hope this rag tag magic works...

On a non school-related topic, I have had some MAJOR back problems this weekend. I barely slept saturday night and could not get out of a prone position this morining without some serious pain. That sucked. Other than that, my Aggies got ass-punched by the fuckin red raiders yesterday, the 'Boys took the wood to the Titans, and the Bears look like they have 12 men on the field when on defense. Wow.

Glad to have you on board, Gabe. You forgot to mention the fact that the SMU Mustangs have won their last three games and finally won one on the road...Sorry to hear about your back.

Hey PT...I must agree about the accounting quiz. I am glad she extended the time to 80 minutes - there is no way 60 would have been enough. I had to use every last second on that bad boy. What do you all think about some group time this week? It's crunch time and I am basically spending every moment at SMU either for work or school. Maybe I will put a sleeping bag in my cube so I don't even have to bother with going home. Let me know if you want me to schedule a room. Just a reminder, I am going to accounting tonight, so I will miss you all Wednesday.
