What's it gonna take?

Saturday is almost over and I will tell you that I'm certainly glad! I got up super early and grabbed a venti six-pump mocha from Starbucks then headed to Cox. I was confident that my studying was going to pay off in a big way and arriving early to just brush up on a few details would be fine. Was I ever wrong! It was like I forgot everything I had studied. I knew there was going to be one of those PPE problems that had been giving me fits on the practice problems and there is was...sold this for that with x amount of depreciation (I'm going to have nightmares). I rolled through the T-accounts couldn't get the thing to balance jumped to the next page and there it was...use the ole' direct method...blah blah blah, couldn't get it to balance...looked at the clock...running out of time. Geesh! Finally worked my way through the test had five minutes left to go back and try to balance my stupid cash account...never did. When that test was over I felt like I had been beat up. From conversations with everyone else, it appears they had the same problems I did and thankfully the professor grades on a curve. Oh well, got to put that one behind me and start crammin' for the final!!!

Just Warm...not Fuzzy!

Ok...Kathleen, Gabe, and I met tonight in luxurious room 308 to study. We covered some more cash flow issues surrounding indirect/direct methods of presenting the same information. I'm like just pick one and go with it people of the GAAP! Another thing why do you net PPE and other accounts and not others...too weird. Anyways we had to end the brain trust at 9 because they were kicking us out of the building or maybe because Kathleen had a hot date with some guy that was polite enough to call when he was going to be late. So, here I sit in my garage reviewing ratio analysis until who knows when desparately searching for the fuzzy that is missing in my feelings of preparedness for this quiz ten and a half hours from now!

Stressed Out!

Ok, tomorrow is the second quiz in accounting and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I did really well on the first quiz, but I studied like a mad man for week before. Peruna Tonic met this past Wednesday and had a productive study session and Kathleen has reserved the same room for tonight, which is a good thing. Hopefully, studying with the group tonight will give me a warm and fuzzy going into tomorrow's quiz. :fingers crossed:
